COVID-19 - Back to Business

As of the 13th May 2020, the property market has been released from lockdown and as such, property viewings, valuations, and photography can be carried out; with removal firms and conveyancers also restarting their business operations in full service..

With an estimated £82 billion of property transactions on hold due to the coronavirus, this news will release a wave of demand into the housing sector - making this an opportune moment to buy, sell, rent and let property.

We would like to reassure you that although restrictions have been lifted, the safety of our clients is paramount.  We will still be adhering to the Government guidelines and operating social distancing and increased cleanliness measures in order to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers and the wider community.

Here's how we will be providing our services:

Valuations and Property Marketing For Sales and Rentals:

We can arrange to visit your home to conduct a full valuation providing that nobody is showing symptoms or self-isolating. Following this we can take photos and videos of your property so that we can market your home.

We would ask that you work with us and comply with the following procedure.

  1. You must confirm that you and no one in your household has coronavirus or the symptoms of coronavirus. If you or anyone in your household has had it, then you must tell us.
  2. When we arrive, please have as few people in the property as possible, ideally a maximum of 2 people, who should be the named owners only.
  3. Please ensure the property has been sanitised as far as reasonable.
  4. We would like you to open all internal doors as far as possible and as such we will limit any touching of items.
  5. Please can you wear a facemask.
  6. Our staff will wear a mask and disposable gloves at all times.
  7. We will not be able to accept the offer of tea or coffee, we will not sit down, but remain standing.
  8. Please remove any pets or have them contained/caged for their safety and our own
  9. Ideally, we will depart and then telephone / video conference with you for a much longer discussion on our return to the office

Property Viewings For Sales and Rentals:

We encourage everybody to continue to view properties virtually in the first instance then once you find a property you are interested in, we can arrange a physical viewing appointment in line with Government advice.
